Our history

Celebrating her 50th birthday prompted Johanne Read to reflect on how she could give back to the community. As a development manager at designer Eileen Fisher, she understands how the right clothes can boost self-esteem. This insight led her to start Mendbyme in 2019, a non- profit dedicated to revitalizing gently used clothing to provide to those in need.
